Types

The Center offers four types of tutoring that differ in the amount of personal attention and the tuition fee.  These four types, from highest to lowest, are the following:

1-on-1          Where the student is given the dedicated attention of the instructor, or one-on-one tutoring, with no other students.  In the case of business owners, this is the only type of tutoring that is appropriate.  The following are other types of tutoring available for students only:

Group            Where a maximum of three students are instructed simultaneously by one instructor.  This maximum of three has also been determined to be optimal when considering the ability of both the student and instructor to benefit from and provide meaningful learning.  As a variation on the Group type of tutoring, we also offer the following for siblings of a family:

Family         Where siblings can be enrolled and then attend sessions simultaneously,  thus giving a break on the tuition fees to families.  Again, this type of tutoring is limited to three students per hour per instructor.

Study Club    A supervised study period offered at certain times where students can come and work on homework or any subject they desire.  Instructors are available to give limited time to each student.  This is an ideal plan for students with similar homework assignments to work together and receive help from an instructor at the same time.  The Center will schedule specific times each week where students can come and be part of the Study Club.  Club size is limited to 6 students maximum per instructor.  A minimum of 3 students is required in order to schedule a time desired by the students.
